Breaking Benjamin is a band that could be said to have two periods of existence; before and after the hiatus due to Burnley’s illnesses at the time. But the band has maintained a consistent sound that remains iconic even after several lineup changes. And this iconic sound is present at nearly every part of their discography.

To date, the band has released 6 studio albums, 2 compilation albums, 3 EPs, 23 singles, and 17 music videos. This incredible body of work has sold over 7 million units in the US alone, with 3 platinum records, 2 gold records, 2 multi-platinum singles, 3 platinum singles, and 5 gold singles as certified by the RIAA.

The band’s first studio album was released after the success of their independently released self-titled EP. This album, Saturate, peaked at #2 on the US Top Heatseekers chart and #136 on the Billboard 200. It was later certified gold more than 13 years later.

Their second album, We Are Not Alone, was released in 2004. And it managed to surpass their freshman effort peaking at #20 on the US Billboard 200 and was later certified platinum in the US and gold in New Zealand.

Their most recent album, Ember, was released in 2018. This album has since peaked at #3 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the US Rock albums and Alternative albums chart. It also peaked at #6 on the Canadian Albums chart among other accolades.
